Indications of ancient settlement have been noted in fields nos 1199 and 1200 on County 25", 44.2. (OS 25"map, (1904))
The settlement "which is dated to c. 3000 BC." (Survey in Glasgow University {not located}) shows clearly on APs. (Visible on OS APs OS.64.68: 097-099)
