Full Description

NG85SW 1 816 521.

At NG 816 521, in a sheltered valley at 150 ft. O.D., close to the Allt Ceann-locha, there are 10 ruined shielings. Five are oval and five circular. No name is known locally.
Visited by OS (N K B) 13 April 1965.

A single unroofed shieling-hut is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1881, sheet xcii). The location of ten shieling-huts are plotted on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1970).
