NH45NW 8 4419 5656
Situated on E side of a boggy hollow on a wooded N-facing slope some 440m W of Larchfield cottage, there are remains of a burnt mound. 10.8m N-S by 7m transversely and up to about 0.6m in height; there is a roughly V-shaped hollow on E side but a central depression appears to separate the mound into two distinct sections.
Visited by RCAHMS 27 February 1989.
