Clach Loundrain (OE). OS 6"map, Ross-shire, 2nd ed., 1875
A large stone known by name of "Clach Loundrain". It measures 30 x 20ft. and stands above ground 15ft. It seems to have fallen from a rocky hill adjacent.
'The legend is that Loundrain, a chief of Scandanavia,
was killed at the Great Stone.'

'Clach Loundrain' is a natural rock feature. The tradition recorded in ONB is no longer remembered locally.
