Unlocated.

A battle was fought at Aldy Charrish (Rev A Mackay 1914) (Aldyharves F N Reid 1890}) in Strathcarron on 11th July 1487, between the Mackays, assisted by the MacLeods of Assynt, and Alexander Ross of Balnagowan.
A Mackay 1914; F N Reid 1890; Earldom of Sutherland.

No further information. Visited by OS (W D J) 21 October 1966.
