Full Description

NH68NE 24 6744 8734.
Near the settlement and field system NH68NE 22, is a cairn situated on a spur and commanding an extensive view. It measures 4.7m in diameter and about 0.3m high and is surrounded by a kerb, best preserved in the NE and evident as intermittent stones on edge. In the centre is an earth filled cist, oriented E to W and measuring 0.9m by 0.6m. It is formed by three slabs on edge, the S slab is missing.
Surveyed at 1/2500. Visited by OS (R L) 29 October 1970.
