Full Description
Centred 669 874.
Centred at NH 669 874 on a generally N-facing slope are two stone-walled huts (A and B).
Hut 'A' set into a knoll, is visible mainly as a platform, c9.5m in diameter, bounded by stony build up in NE, and back scarp in SW. The entrance is not evident. Immediately outside hut in SW is a modern quarry hole.
'B' at base of a N-facing slope, is overgrown. It is circular measuring c6m in diameter between centres of a wall spread to
c2m all round. The entrance cannot be seen.
Two or three stone clearance heaps in the vicinity of the huts are probably from contemporary cultivation plots.
Surveyed at 1/2500. Visited by OS (I S S) 2 October 1973.
