Full Description

NH67SW 22 6097 7230 and 611 718.

At NH 6097 7230 on a NE slope is a ruinous stone-walled hut visible as a platform measuring c.11.0m NE-SW by c.9.5m transversely, with traces of a stone-wall around the N half. The SW arc, visible as a slight scarp, is mutilated by a track. The ill-defined entrance is in the NE. The hut is crossed by a fence.
To the S is an area of stone clearance heaps probably from contemporary cultivation plots. Isolated from this area by a boggy gully and centred at NH 611 718 is a smaller area of clearance heaps, also probably contemporary with the hut.
Visited by OS (A A) 10 November 1970.

Surveyed at 1/2500.
Visited by OS (I S S) 22 August 1972.
