NH 694 876. Cairnfield, Ardvannie: There are at least three cairns situated in improved pasture 700m WNW of Ardvannie. They measure up to 7.4m in diameter and 1m in height. To the NE there are several clearance heaps of recent date set among rig-and-furrow cultivation.
RCAHMS 1979, visited 1978.
The alleged cairns, which tend to be irregular in shape, are not significantly different from other turf-covered clearance heaps in the area, and they are assumed also to be field clearance of an unspecified date.
