Full Description

This cairn is as described by the previous field investigator. Immediately below the cairn, covering about a hectare, are approximately a dozen stone clearance heaps of the type commonly associated with hut circles.
Visited by OS (J B) 3 September 1982.

A large mound of bare stones, 15m in diameter and about 2m high. The cairn is mutilated by several small excavations and a passage has been made into it on the S side to form a shooting butt. No chamber or cist is visible, but the cairn is undoubtedly sepulchral. Visited by OS (W D J) 14 June 1960.
