Full Description

GR given to western hut circle as marked on OS - HAW 12/2004

NH67NE 8 6602 7788 and 6609 7788.
At NH 6609 7789 on a shelf in a S-facing slope is an oval stone-walled hut measuring about 13.5m from NNW, through the ill-defined entrance in SSE, by about 11.5m between the centres of a wall greatly obscured by peat. Several stone clearance heaps, probably from contemporary cultivation plots, occur to NW of hut.
Another hut 70m to W is almost hidden by peat cover. It measures 12m from NNW through the simple entrance in SSE, by 9.5m between wall centres.
Both huts surveyed at 1:10,560. Visited by OS (A A) 22 January 1971.
