Cairn (NR) OS 6" map, (1959)
This is a heap of stones, 20' in diameter and not more than 18" high, completely covered with small trees and nettles.
A A Woodham 1956.
This cairn, composed of medium and small stones and covered by small trees and scrub, is c 8m diameter. It is situated at top of the bank overlooking Cromarty Firth, and at the foot of a cultivated field. It is in an inconspicuous position, and quite untypical of the usual situation for cairn. It may be result of recent field clearance.
