NH66NE 14 unlocated.

Inverness Scientific Society have examined remains of ancient iron-smelting near Alness.
J H Dixon 1886.

Macadam (1893), with whom Dixon collaborated in discovery of iron-working sites, lists only 3 which can be said to be near Alness.
These are 'Fearn' (NH68NW), 'Blackpark, Edderton' (NH68SE 9), and 'Allt-Minar-Blair' (possibly Allt Muigh-bhlaraidh, NH68SE).
