This low, circular, stony mound, highest on N side, seems to be the last remains of a round cairn. It measures 65' diameter and 1' to 1.5' high, with a shallow depression, 30' across, in the centre. Probing showed that the whole area is covered with stones.
A A Woodham 1956.

A much reduced cairn, now under cultivation; generally as described by Woodham.
Resurveyed at 1/2500. Visited by OS (R B) 14 January 1966.

No remains RCAHMS 1979.
