NH65NW 8 635 584

In mature conifers close to a pre-enclosure 'peat road', is a distinct 0.3m high quartz boulder named Eagle stone on 1816 commonland survey. 100m to SSW an earthen mound 10m in diameter and 1m high with a hollowed and disturbed centre possibly represents remains of a barrow.
