1st ed OS does not show enclosure. 2nd ed OS shows school as 2 free standing buildings - HAW 2/2004

NH57NE 15 5810 7672
In broken ground N of the old School House there are the remains of at least three stone-built enclosure banks defined by turf-covered boulder footings measuring up to 1m in thickness and 0.3m in height. Large outcrops are incorporated into the banks. The remains extend for some 60m NE of the road.
