An extensive group of archaeological remains is situated at the N end of Loch Morie, immediately N of the church (NH57NW 2).

Three roofed and two unroofed buildings, an enclosure and a head-dyke are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire and Cromartyshire 1880, sheet lii). Two roofed buildings, an enclosure, some sheep pens and some field walls are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1990).
