NH 804 689. Shell-midden, Balnapaling: There is a shell-midden composed mainly of winkle shells exposed in face of quarry 220m W of Dunskeath Castle (NH86NW 1) The midden is 0.2m thick and extends for at last 2.7m
RCAHMS 1979, visited 1978.
