This site was visited by Roland Spencer-Jones of the North of Scotland Archaeological Society on the 14th of May 2014. This site was described as located on a south east facing slope above the Scotsburn burn. The two adjoining un-roffed houses had a large enclosure behind and several annexed buildings and structures (see associated plan). There was one entrance in the south facing side of House 1, whereas there were two entrances in the larger house 2. As there was a partial division 6m from the west wall, much reduced at the time of this site visit, Spencer-Jones suggested that this may represent two houses. The walls were standing 1-1.5m in height. There was an enclosed space with a probable entrance to the back, at the eastern end of the enclsoure.
Outside of the farmstead, on the eastern side, there was another large enclosure to the north east and three large clearance cairns further east, between the buildings and a there was a 1.5m high dyke running south east to north west. <1>
