Full Description

NH77NW 19 7344 7878.
An ordinary spring with a copious flow of water well adapted for domestic use and is chiefly used as such it being one of the principal supplies for the burgh (of Tain). It is not regarded as a holy well.' Name Book 1874.

Morris and Morris note this as a former holy well. However, the description given of it is actually that of Tobar Mhuire (NH57NW 1). R Morris and F Morris 1982
