GR given below is well away from Culrain and on upper slopes where there is not a chance of peat cover.
GR above corrected to Culrain village which lies on lower land below lee of the hill. No obvious peat beds in area now - HAW 04/2005
NH59SE 7 57 94.
Several completely-clad skeletons were found during peat-cutting in a moss near Culrain. They were lying irregularly. The cloth is woollen, well woven and not greatly decayed. Parts of clothing are in NMAS. The clothes are of unknown date.

No further information found during field investigation.
