Full Description

NG82SE 6 888 229.

What may be a souterrain has been spotted in this locality. This could not be located in dense bracken cover at the time of visit. Several large stones may indicate the site on level ground c 15.0m to the south of Allt an Inbhir and c 50m above the road bridge. However a buried water main in the vicinity may have confused the issue.
Information from E Macrae.

Local memory of the site, last seen c. 1910, suggests there may well be a souterrain type structure in this area. A further visit is required. Visited by RB Gourlay, Highland Region Archaeologist, 12 July 1985.
