Full Description

NG83SE 10 8542 3022

On the SE-facing slope to the E of Sron na Smeoraich, at a height of 213m OD is a short length of earth bank. It cuts off a small area of ground at the junction of two burns. The bank measures 2m wide by 0.5m high. A shallow depression on the outer side of the bank probably represents the quarry ditch for the upcast material.
About 100m to the N of the bank, and parallel to it, is an isolated line of large boulders which runs for some 50m along the contour of the hillside.
Visited by M Wildgoose, November 1989.
