Full Description

The turf-covered footings of four shielings and a circular enclosure which is probably contemporary occur within a field system associated with a settlement of hut circles (See NC82NE 5).
Visited by OS 31 May 1961 and 2 February 1976.

There are at least three shieling-huts on a terrace to the N of the Abhainn na Frithe. The most substantial measures 2m by 1.5m and is set on a mound measuring 8m from NNE to SSW by 4.5m and 0.3m in height. A fourth hut lies to the E, adjacent to hut-circle 'D', described under NC82NE 5. A circular enclosure to the SE of the largest hut is probably a degraded turf stell.
(KILD91 279)
Visited by RCAHMS (DCC) 5 May 1991.
