Full Description

Centred at NC 857339 are two heather-covered hut circles('A' and 'B') set on the crest of a low ridge.
'A' is about 10m in diameter within a low wall spread to 3m. Some 7.5 m of the wall in the SE is either destroyed or obscured, the entrance probably being in this arc. Slightly to the SE of the huts' centre is a low irregular mound of uncertain purpose. It consists of medium sized stones and measures about 4m across. A line of small stones appears to run from the NW side of the mound joining the hut wall in the N. A similar line also running into the N arc may have run from the NE side of the mound, but the remains are too incomplete for certainty.
'B' is 10m in diameter within a lowwall spread to 3m. The entrance is in SSE. With the exception of one or two clearance heaps there is no trace of associated cultivation, although the ridge is relatively dry and stone free.
Surveyed at 1:10560. Visited by OS (J B) 8 June 1977
