Full Description

NC75NW 42 718 576.

Centred at NC 718 576, on the twin summits of a ridge is a cairn (A) and a probable cairn (B), both heavily covered with peat and heather.
'A' is about 7.3m in diameter and 0.8m high with intermittent kerb stones visible. The centre has been excavated, revealing no structural details.
'B' is smaller and less distinct, measuring 0.5m high and 5.5m in diameter, with only one or two possible kerb stones apparent. But for its prominent position similar to 'A', it would be considered a clearance heap of which several examples occur nearby.
Surveyed at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (J B) 21 Juy 1977.
