Centred at NC 2111 5491
NC 212 549. The remains of two dwellings and an enclosure lie 100yds E of Kinsaile Lodge. One lies N-S about 30yds from the shore in the lee of a crag. It is two-roomed, well-constructed, and measures 40ft by 15ft. A wall 10ft long and 4ft high links it to a second two-roomed house about 45ft by 15ft, lying parallel to the burn. An irregular enclosure, with one wall following the bank of the burn, measures about 30ft by 20ft.

This small township comprises nine unroofed buildings and two enclosures as it is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xxi). The site contains one roofed, twelve unroofed and two enclosures as depicted on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1962).
