Full Description
NC86SW 16 837 609.
At NC 8367 6092 and NC 8374 6092 on a west-facing hillside are two poorly preserved hut circles (A and B) associated cultivation is denoted in sporadic heaps and rickles of field clearance round about, but measureable plots are not discernible. Both huts are heavily peat
silted but seem of similar type.
'A' is 7.0m diameter inside a wall reduced to a low 2.5m broad spread; the entrance is in the south. The hut wall is broken through in the S W arc.
'B' is 10.0m by 9.0m internally; the wall stands to 0.4m and is spread to 2.5m and the entrance is in the SSW on the line of the longer axis. Natural drainage cuts the hut wall in the E and W arcs and carves a
slight channel through the interior.
Surveyed at 1/10.000.
