Full Description

NC94SW 7 9033 4485.
Within a settlement and field system (NC94SW 1), is a heather covered burnt mound. It is U shaped and measures overall 6.0m north-south by 8m with the south end open. The mound has a general height of 0.8m which decreases to almost nothing at N end. A trial dig exposed a content of burnt stones and blackened earth.
Surveyed at 1:10000. Visited by OS (J B) 11 May 1977.

A sub-circular enclosure, 6.5m NE-SW by 5.5m by 0.5m high, with an entrance on SW
