Full Description

Mound (NR) OS 6"map, Caithness, 2nd ed., (1907)

That this is a broch is suggested by the character and curve of the wall of the small fragment of building here.
RCAHMS 1911.

This is a grass-covered mound, 1.2m high, 14m E-W by 10m transversely, with a small pile of grass-covered stones on top. Though artificial, there is now no evidence to suggest that this is a broch; nor could its nature be determined.
Resurveyed at 1:2500. Visited by OS (R D) 22 October 1964.

No change. Visited by OS (J B) 5 October 1981.
