Full Description

The remains of a low turf and heather-covered cairn about 13.5m in diameter and 0.7m high. The 'cells' suggested by the previous field investigator are possibly the result of random disturbance.
Visited by OS (J B) 11 September 1981.

Cairn (NR) OS 1:10,000 map, (1975)

All that can be seen at ND 0135 6441, about 110m W of ND06SW 6, are three heather-covered circular cells, some 5m in diameter and 0.3m in height, which are contained within the trace of the perimeter of a probable cairn.
Surveyed at 1:2500. Visited by OS (N K B) 11 November 1964.

There are the foundations of an oval or circular construction about 40ft in diameter, some 80 yards W of mound described on ND06SW 6. There are a number of circular depressions about 5ft in diameter in its interior, but the whole is overgrown with thick turf.
RCAHMS 1911.
