Full Description
A cairn, as described by RCAHMS and previous field investigator. It is circular, and the profile is 'cairn-like', though stone clearance from the early modern cultivation that skirts the base of the cairn has been added. In SW side is a single earthfast stone which may be a kerb stone.

Mound (NR) OS 1:10,000 map, (1975)
This grass-covered mound, a possible cairn, is about 13m in diameter by 1m in height. No information regarding its purpose could be obtained.
Visited by OS (R D) 20 November 1964.
This cairn-like moundis about 41ft in diameter and 3ft in height. The surface is very uneven and appears to have been overlaid with field clearance stones. Its true character is uncertain.
