Description
A watching brief was conducted during groundworks associated with the construction of an access track. The work took place at the foot of the hill, where an existing hill track meets the main Golspie Road. A walkover survey of the area took place prior to any stripping to ensure that the excavation did not encroach on any upstanding archaeological remains. The required area, measuring 100m by 40m, was then excavated under archaeological supervision. No archaeological finds or features were identified. <1>
