Description
A watching brief was conducted during the construction of a waste water treatment plant at Kishorn. This comprised monitoring of topsoil stripping over the area of the treatment plant and a site compound and storage area. A dry stone field wall was noted running along the northern extent of the field, standing to an average height of 1.0m. Incorporated within the site was a large fragment of finely carved worked stone. The wall and carved stone remain in situ. No archaeological features or finds were revealed during the topsoil stripping. <1>
