Full Description

During a watching brief a dry stone field wall was noted along the northern extent of the site boundary extending from NGR NG 8351 4001 to NG 8367 3999. The wall stands to an average height of 1.0m and is in moderate condition, however sections have partially collapsed. A large fragment of finely carved stone was observed at the western end of the wall re-used as building material (see MHG54317). <1>
