Description

A walkover survey, incorporating a desk-based survey, was carried out by C Dagg at Little Wyvis, Strathpeffer, in 1999 in advance of works connected to a re-instated hydro-electric scheme. The remains of the earlier scheme, dating to 1904, were visited and assessed. In addition it was noted that on modern map evidence an area of probable pre-clearance buildings, exist, albeit in a damaged state, in conifer woodland plantation near the south end of the survey area. <1>
