NC45SE 2 45 53.

According to Mr Mayer (D Mayer, Hope Lodge, by Durness), there is a tradition of two crannogs in Loch Hope, one at NC 473 588 (see NC45NE 22), and the other towards the S end of the loch towards the western shore (area NC 4553). There is no trace of a crannog in this area, and Mr Mayer has never seen the structure.
