A Cairngorm Dairy (24th-29th July, 1932), recored by James Nicoll Kerr Henderson (1908-1989) and John Henderson.

The site of the lower bothy as marked on the 1st edition OS map of 1896. Stone foundations are visible as a flat grassy patch amidst heather. It lies close to the confluence between the Beanaidh Bheag and the Am Beanaidh, on the floor of Glen Einich.
