Full Description

J Aitken : 26/01/04

A bothy near the Fuaran Diotach, "a charming spring" according to Thornton, who had a picnic there (1804 (1896), 100 & 102). He also describes looking down into Glen Ennoch to "herds of cattle, grazing and bleating; and a single 'bothie', the temporary residence of the lonely herdsmen"
Mae Marshall, whose family were gamekeepers in Glen Einich believes that there was a bothy here in pre-sporting times.
Information from Ann Wakeling, 8/12/99
