A small subrectangular structure (possibly a pen), lying on the lower slopes of Torr a' Chait, was recorded during a forestry survey by Headland Archaeology (NMRS MS 899/64, no.3). Built against a rock, it measures 3.4m from NE to SW by 2.5m within a turf-covered stony bank, 0.8m thick and 0.6m high. There is no entrance visible.
