NB90NE 13 9896 0730

A drystone, rectangular structure, set into the NW-faicng slope at the base of Meall Mor, was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey by Headland Archaeology (NMRS MS 899/80, no.4). It measures 10m from E to W by about 4.5m. Where the structure is set into the hillside, it stands up to 1m in height, elsewhere the walls are reduced to rubble and the E ends is indistinct. There is a drystone dyke running parallel to the structure on the N.
