Full Description

The 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1875, sheet xxxii) here shows a roofed building - presumably a barn - which has a horse-gang attached. The building is part of the former farmstead of Balnagordonach (NH82NW0027).

The building has been reroofed and is presently used as a bothy. A photographic record was taken in advance of further development at the site (Planning ref: IN-04-1245; photos supplied by Mr D Legg). There appears to be no trace now of the horse gang.
