Full Description

A circular sheepfold is depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map c.1878. <1>

The site was visited during a walkover survey in July 2009. The walls are up to 1.5m high and topped with turf. A possible entrance is visible on the south side. The walls are 1 metre wide at the base but tapered upwards. There is a small stretch of wall 7 metres long by the entrance on the south side. <2>
