Full Description

Situated on an improved area of ground with a south-west aspect and around 40 metres north-east of the vehicle access track, are the ruinous remains of a sub-circular stone-built pen measuring 5.5 metres by 5.0 metres over walls 1.0 metre thick. The pen stands to a maximum height of 0.7 metres. Approximately 20 metres north-west is a D-shaped structure measuring 7.0 metres long by 4.0 metres wide. The 0.8 metre entrance faces north-west and the structure, possibly a bothy, survives to a maximum height of 0.8 metres. A degraded stone-built enclosure is attached to the north-west side of the bothy. Located at 27 metres OD, the structures are situated around 150 metres northwest
of the Allt na Criche. <1>
