Full Description

A figure of 8 corn drying kiln, and a wind-break of stakeholes and postholes, were recorded during trial trenching by S Farrell in 2006 at Lochloy, Nairn, in advance of a proposed housing development. A linear alignment of postholes, and a group of pits were also recorded, possibly associated with the kiln. No dateable finds were recovered. <1>
