Full Description

Aerial photographs dating to 1946 show what looks to be a disturbed area containing one standing unroofed structure and several (4?) platforms located at the junction of the A836 and the small road leading up to Lower Dounreay, on the eastern side. A 1964 aerial photograph shows one building and two platforms. By 1988 aerial photographs only reveal slight traces of the former disturbance. <1>
