Full Description

158 The uppermost of the 2 shieling sites was recorded by NOSAS in 2007 as part of the Scotland's Rural Past Project and is at NH 2027 4850 is at an altitude of 425m, between two streams, at the head of the Allt Coire Mhoraigean. Seven shieling mounds are distributed across a NW facing slope, most are approximately circular between 3 to 4 metres in diameter, some being slightly concave whilst others are defined by low turf banks. <1>
