Full Description

This croft is given 5.5 acres on the estate map.It is the wettest and most boggy croft on Lonemore. Two large drainage ditches and the stream Caochan an Fhasaich run from N to S through the croft.
There are the footings of several dykes on the croft (see plan), and a causeway made of stones and boulders crosses the bog from the main ruin to the stream. This has now partially sunk into the bog,but on its W end was made into a small enclosure by building up the height of the walls (see picture)The causeway is shown on both the first and second OS maps. <1>
