Cairn (NAT) OS 6"map, Ross-shire, 2nd ed., (1905)

A crannog is visible at low water 200 yds from shore at E end of Loch Beannachan (Beannacharain).
F O Blundell 1913

A crannog which is known locally to be circular and about 10-15 yds in diameter. It was not visible at the time of investigation as the water in the loch was at a high level.
