NH67SE 13 6650 7362.

At Achnacloich is a loch, in which the remains of a crannog can be seen when the water is low.
R Maclean 1886.

No trace of a crannog was seen at Loch Achnacloich. At the east end of the loch at NH 6651 7359 a very small stony knoll surmounted by a stunted tree protrudes about 0.5m above the water surface but this knoll was constructed many years ago by Mr H MacKay gamekeeper Ardross
Estates to provide a nesting place for swans (Information from Mr R Wallace, farmer, Easter Achnacloich).
